Skilled Beautician

My writing is somewhat creative, it starts off as an imagined idea, lots of brainstorming, gathering some information, past experiences, and I enjoy the negative and positive feedback.

Hairstyling...

Beauticians...

Just as a hairstylist, I must imagine some type of hairdo. The ultimate hairstyle. Something that's not too outrageous, but best suits me. At times I may have to grab a couple of magazines to get some ideas of what I really want. I don’t steal the ideas. I make sure I give the hairstylist credit and acknowledge that I imitated their work.

Most of my writings consist of past experiences. Like hairstyles I can look back at the 70's, 80's and 90's and relive those moments.

When putting my paper together I definitely go back and edit. Take a little from here, pin some loose ends up there. As in hairstyling, to finish up my masterpiece I tighten up those stray hairs. I may have to go back and straighten a few curls, but the time used is beneficial. In the end I have a well constructed work of art.

Everyone has their own opinion. They may like my creative style; its smoothness, and how it flows. Others may think it’s too straight forward or not well put together.

But in the end, I am the artist. As long as I am confident and feel that I wear (wrote) it well, and gave it my best effort, I am satisfied.
